well after sooooo long, finally found time to blog.

Happy Chinese Ox New Year, may u all have a good year ahead

this marks the 1st day of the new year for chinese and juz nice it was suppose to be my 1st day at IMH for attachment. lucky got ph... so my 2 weeks attachment became only 8 days.
my previous attachment was at NUH ward 47 which was a paeds ward(for children. it turned out to be quite fun and our CI was very kind and helpful. at the last day, we gave the CI a card with a picture of her deep in thoughts and a overall card for the rest of the staff.

sat i went to bishan's singapore weiqi association to help out in an event and who knew we got $10 helper fee (we helped out only as a volunteer and din expect to get paid). after the event, we went to have steamboat at marina square. the trainee waiter was so polite. we had a great experience with him serving us most of the time. and so we went to the waterfront to enjoy the food fare and took some pictures.soon it was too late le and we went back to have a good rest le.

well that's all that happened since my last post. and hope that i will have time to post another one again.

finally a time to blog ... this whole week was chaotic as we need to hand in our physical fitness workbook which i haven touch from pg 1... anw i finished the book only today which was 1 day afterthe due date... but i can juz blame it on the NYP openhouse coz i took part for all 3 days from morning to night =P

anw overall the NYP openhouse was a fun experience and i got to meet different ppl from different schools. althou there was lots of communication errors, the rest was well except for the part that everything we planned din go as wat we expected. the helpers who turned up was only a very small part of the overall helper lists. we had to cover and make do with wat we have... too bad i can't help out in next year's openhouse most prob due to prcp but i will strive to work hard in my school work and try to help out in more school events like orientations...

well...HAPPY NEW YEAR(2009)!!!
hope everyone had a wonderful and enjoying 2008 and are looking forward to 2009.(even thou the finical crisis was a hugh hit)
hope everyone had a fabulous new year eve ytd coz it seems to be party everywhere
lastly hope everyone can fulfill their new year's resolution this year

coz 09 will not pass that simply like 08

anw went to sch as usual but skipped all the lectures to play in the clubroom...after all the trainings and meetings, went to Vivocity to have dinner with my family at Carnivore. it really was a treat of all the meat sia... had a full meal like no other... after that a bit of shopping and sight-seeing and we went home. actually we sent my younger brother home 1st coz we still had to go to another place to drink whereby too young cannot go in... and partied till 1am... wat a good way to spend new year eve and since that the 1st time i entered any bar. it was quite a good experience. and had a very good slp when i got home...

well... today is the last day of our much deserved school holis... so looking forward to the next sch holis... anw we will juz head back to sch for another 2 weeks before going to our attachments(woots... 2 weeks of pediatrics and then 2 weeks of IMH- holy)...i will still go back to school at night for mindsports...

well this is a summarized version of my monday and tuesday.

monday i got an invite for NYAA commissioning @ Costa Sands Resort and it seems i was the only 1 from mindsports committee who is able to attend... lols MindSport's One Man Army!!! anw i got to the meeting abt 1.30 hrs late...due to the delayed arrival of the food, the whole event din start until about 7pm(lucky for me...). there i signed in for mindsports and went to meet some friends(mainly SHS ppl).the commissioning was quite fun except we can't hear matt's voice(too soft le).we went for the food after that and left for vivocity. we took some pics on the way as well(will post up when i recieve). then home and a well deserved rest...

tuesday: the moment i woke up, i started to play call of duty:waw. then i recieve a msn from kelvin saying he has a extra ticket for the concert later that evening...and i decided to join go and met up with cheryl and kelvin at the clubroom before heading to tfa. overall the concert was wonderful and ppl even wanted an encore from jeremy(u rock man...). then we headed home after kelvin finished taking his group photo and collected his stuff from MindSports clubroom (thou he did leave his bag there...who knows wat might happen to it overnight lols)

Sat: it was so boring coz there was nothing much to do except to wait for my family to return back from Msia. so i sat at home and made a small Christmas tree from crystals.{pic is a bit blur coz taken from a camera phone}

by the time i finished, my family had juz came back ...finally i am not alone at home anymore ^-^j

Sun: woke up at 6.40am and still had to rush to Lakeside to meet Xing wei for competition... suppose to meet at 7.30am but in the end everyone was late and turned up nearly at 8.20am...lols. then we headed to Jurong Green CC and reported for competition...lucky i brought my jacket, coz it was so cold at the competition area. we had breakfast at mac since we were still early and waited for the competition to start. overall i saw many good players and quite a lot are kids (omg they very strong sia). and in the end won 3 out of 6 matches.

after prize presentation, the whole nyp gang went to eat at Han zhong's parent's seafood stall opposite Jurong Spring CC. man the food was nice. thx Han zhong for the nice food and treat.^-^j
when we were full, we headed to see the new Jurong Point building. man we did a lot of walking. orginally we wanted to watch a movie, but it was later cancelled as we ended up walking the whole mall till 10pm (if we still insist on watching, dun need to go home le). during the whole walk, we discussed mainly about the rubix cube which was so popular nowadays. then seeing that it was so late, we took a train home from boon lay. all of us were so tired we fell asleep on the train. sweet dreamz guys, u all did well^-^j

Finally, tmr my whole family is gonna come back le... so happy to see them after being home alone for 6 days. sides if they dun come back, i guess i will be eating grass soon le.lols.

Phew finally finished Pharmaco ica which we spent only 3 days doing... overall it was a good presentation...wanted to spend my 2 wks holis in peace but looks like it will be interupted by ica preparations again...haiz no rest sia.

Also today is the last day for Physical fitness elective module. we had to go swimming and since it was the last day before holis, many din turn up. everyone had fun and knew each other better, thou some says i'm too aggressive when playing games..i very gentle le sia... even after the class ended, some of my friends stayed back to continue swimming, and we took some pictures

Happy Advance BDae to Me!!!

technically it's not my Bdae until the stroke of midnight but i juz finished celebrating alone in advance...
coz i can't eat my own Bdae cake at the actual day itself, if not i will be sick...T.T so sad rite...

anw i managed to celebrate it though i'm alone this whole week, bought the 2 small cakes from Breadtalk and some drinks from cold storage(pityful rite? for my 18th Bdae) but wat to do, my whole family went to Msia and i can't join them coz of icas this whole week. the 1st cake was Dark Cherry Charm, but i ate it before i rmbered to take a pic. the 2nd was a Strawberry Sweetheart which is the pic on top. anw juz wished something that i hope can come true within this year. pray pray pray.

today i had to wake up at 6.30am to prepare for competition which starts at 8.50am... (wa, so early,still very slpy at tt time). met up with chin ghee, boon ping,luo xu, qui di, wang zhao, zi qiao, xin yi, yin sen, ding liang, pei gong, and yongfeng (total 12) at bishan.apparently me, chin chee and xinyi were in the same train, same carriage but different door....lols.

we reported to the community centre at 8.20am and went to have our breakfast juz across the streets. after breakfast, we headed back to listen to some rules and regulations and the competetion was on it's way.

overall i only won 3/7 games... i could have won the 2 games but ended up moving the wrong piece, therefore i lose 4 games total...that last game was against a jjc girl(yang ce). she was so pretty that during the previous competition, i lost focus and lose. so i decided to avenge that loss and started to play very cautiously. in the end she move a wrong piece out of desperation as her time was running out and i won.

after the matches, i saw mayi (participant from the whampoa weiqi cup) and had a little chat. thou till now i cannot believe kelvin(4kyu) could lose to mayi (7kyu) in a fair game. the difference btwn the kyus is so big lar...

anw after the prize presentation, we ate the buffet and took some grp photos (i will upload once i recieve) and headed home. phew wat a tired day... my eyes still hurt from all that 7 games of chinese chess...

abt the blog i will try to fix it asap (too busy le). so stay tuned for more updates

hmm... i figured this is a bit late for my experience for sat but whatever... if i dun write now, i may juz forget.

this morning i woke up and continued to play maple and fix my blog. found lots of blogskin but no idea which to choose... then i met up with kelvin at causeway point at 1220 (when we had planned to meet at 12nn). we headed to toa payoh interchange(tpi) and met up with jeremy and yong sheng, took bus 139 and headed to whampoh community club (only yong sheng knew where it was). we went to "register" and saw a few familiar faces at the 9th Whampoa National Weiqi Competition.

we had a little chat and discussions and the competition started. after the 1st rd, some of them who know me came and asked if i had won... the only thing i could say was..."i won't be here tmr coz of other competitions". the 1st day of whampoh cup only had 3 games and after we finished, it was abt 6+pm. we then headed out to have our dinner...due to some miscommunications, we din know where we were going and made a few U-turns. some said to novena mrt and some said to tpi.in the end we settled for dinner @ tpi.

we went to koufu and took up 3 tables to fit the whole gang.after our dinner i went to popular with kelvin to brouse for a keychain, but i din buy coz not enuff money and my popular card was still with eunice... haiz sad

after a short while, we went back to meet up with the rest of the gang. zhi xiong and yong sheng wanted to but ice cream from mac and the 3 of us went tgr. zhi xiong bought the new chocolate mcflurry(cornetto), yong sheng bought a choc sundae and i went for choc milkshake. we then met up with the rest and headed home on the same train

that's it for sat's event, now it's time to slp coz tmr i need to go for another chinese chess team competition at bishan... so stay tuned as i update my blog and perfect it...
